Definition Of Heat
At one time man assumed that heat is a liquid that switched from a hot object to a cold object in the other. liquid imagined it was given the name "calories".
Whether It's Heat ?
now we know that heat it is the motion of atoms and molecules in a object. in the air such as atoms and molecules are moving increasingly to the let freely.
when the or the molecules move faster, then we say that the temperature rise or in other words the air it becomes hot. when atoms and molecules that slow moving, as well on cold days, we feel the air it become cool.
atoms and molecules cannot move freely is getting here in the objects of liquid and solid body gesture, but it persists. even at a temperature of be freeze ice molecules, however, it is always in a state of temperature moves.
a molecule of hydrogen at the temperature like this can move at speed of 6,400 feet per second. in one cubic inch of air occur collisions per second trillion thousand among the molecules it is.
heat and temperature are not the two the same thing basically, a large gas burner not likely achieve more than heat that can be generated by a small gas burner. but a large gas burner could providing larger, therefore the heat could contain more gas burned.
heat is a type of energy. so, if we measure the heat means we measure energy. the amount of power the heat that we measure with units of calories. one calories is the amount of heat energy required to raise the temperature of one gram of water increased by one degree Celsius.
but the temperature of an object only indicates the level of the limits to which objects it contains heat energy, temperature was measured using a thermometer and expressed in degrees of unity.
when two objects are combined but there is no heat energy transition from one to the other, then we say they are at the same temperature, but when one of them loses heat energy (due to molecular motion becomes slow), lost power while it can get by other objects (which molecular motion becomes more quickly).
then we sat that the heat is has switched from hotter to colder objects, thus we can say that the first to last are in higher temperatures than the second object.
